The Gas Turbine Proposal Lead in this position would support the new apparatus gas turbine proposals. The role will provide technical support in customer meetings and negotiations, meanwhile identifying solutions to the customer requirements based on the product portfolio.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Actively involved in all proposal phases, analyses customer requests and their technical feasibility as well as the possible realization during all proposal phases within the LOA process.
- Defines proposal strategy and basic project conditions in collaboration with Sales. Leads technical contract discussions.
- Collaborate with the logistics and purchasing departments for manufacturing information and capacity. Providing input on transfer price calculation.
- Collaborate with US and European factories and engineering departments on product development and capacity.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
- 5 years of engineering or bid management experience, ideally within the power industry.
- Excellent (verbal and written) communication and presentation skills! Demonstrated ability to work with diverse teams.
- Innovative approach, creativity, willingness to share and explore new ideas!
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
