Varian Medical Systems in Austin, TX is hiring several Production Operators to support manufacturing of our cancer fighting Medical Devices. In this role you will contribute to completion of products and machine assemblies by performing a sequence of predefined, specialized and different assembly operations, which includes testing and problem analysis, in cooperation with a team of differently qualified assembly technicians.
What You Will Do
The Annual Base Pay For This Position Is
Min $37,800 - Max $56,700
Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.

What You Will Do
- Contribute to planning and effective resource allocation in the production group (focus on Products & Machines).
- Plan own work steps in cooperation with other team members.
- Perform a set of qualified assembly operations, which may include all electronic, electro-mechanic and mechanic assemblies or sub-assemblies.
- Constantly monitor availability of parts, tools and machines needed to complete product in the relevant subsequent steps of the overall assembly process.
- Use specific equipment and/or a range of specialized tools and machines, and maintain functionality.
- Contribute to plan, execute and analyze the results of test routines and procedures, often in a complex test environment
- Assist in resolving routine manufacturing related problems affecting daily operations.
