We are continuously developing new answers for rail automation – often to questions that haven’t been asked yet.**Position Overview:**As an Assembler I, you will support a range of activities in a high-energy production environment putting together the final assembly to manufacture the best rail vehicles in the world.**What your day-to-day may look like: **Assemble units in the production of light rail vehicles, locomotives, and coaches, including roofs, cable harnesses, mounted parts, electrical racks, panels, air supply racks, and piping assemblies.Connect wires between individual component leads, connectors, terminals, and contact points.Perform electrical wire terminations.Cut wires to specified lengths and routes, comb, twist, wrap, tie, and attach wires to terminal points.Disassemble, modify, rework, refurbish, and reassemble components as required.Perform tasks requiring knowledge of various processes, operations, and equipment.Work from production blueprints, wiring diagrams, parts lists, wire lists, sketches, and verbal instructions to produce electrical or electro-mechanical subassemblies.**To Thrive in this role, you have: **High school education, GED, or equivalent.A minimum of 1 year experience in a manufacturing or similar environment or similar environment, such as construction, automotive, or electrical service industries. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
