POSITION SUMMARY : The Fabrication Operator is responsible for processing printed circuit boards (PCB) panels thru various fabrication processes according to the travelers, Blue Print or as directed by Managers while following department standard operating procedures.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
- Check traveler for due date and special request for priority before setting up and starting the process.
- Set up and / or operate equipment's / machines Excellon ,Hitachi , AccuScore , Bevel Mate , Barnaby (Routing, Scoring / NC Scoring, NC Bevel / Hand Bevel, Countersink / Counter Bore, etc.
to perform fabrication tasks.
- Use tools as caliper, digital v-score checker for measuring and inspect First Article (FA) to meet customer specifications.
- Check dimension of FA with customer drawing and make adjustment necessary before running product.
- Inspect and clean product for debris burrs after finishing the process.
- Log job status on computer using the PCB software (ProCim) and complete Non-Conforming Material Report (NCMR) form for all products that are rejected from drilling and / or fabrication process before moving to the next process.
- Maintain inventory of rout bits and special entry stocks.
- Perform daily maintenance on machines and house keeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Inform Managers (Fabrication Manager, Production Manager, etc.) of any potential problems.
- Ability to follow and comply with company's internal safety policies as well as external regulatory agencies.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS :
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and / or abilities required.
- High School Diploma preferred.
- 2-6 years experience a fabrication operator for PCB Manufacturing Company.
- Previous experience and knowledge of CNC Processes a must.
- Ability to read and understand technical work instructions.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds maximum.
- Ability to stand and walk throughout the day.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good computer skills and ability to learn new skills and tasks as required.
- Ability to perform at the highest level in a fast-paced environment.
