What are the responsibilities and job description for the Prior Authorization Specialist position at Sierra Eye Associates?

Authorization specialist needed for a very busy practice. Employee must have the ability to pay attention to detail, be very reliable and a team player. Must have experience with health care, insurance and authorizations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Weekly day range:

  • Monday to Friday

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Insurance verification: 1 year (Required)
  • Medical billing: 1 year (Preferred)
