Position:
As a member of the SPPW team, this role has a direct impact on the lives of clients. The successful candidate will work on various analysis & planning projects for HNW clients and deepen relationships by delivering an exceptional client experience.
Responsibilities:
- Create comprehensive financial plans and investment strategies (e.g. equity rewards analysis, retirement planning, insurance gap analysis, tax planning, concentrated stock position diversification, and wealth transfer & estate planning).
- Provide objective, unbiased financial advice by analyzing client needs and associated investment opportunities.
- Prepare planning updates, portfolio changes and reviews, and new opportunity identification.
- Manage client relationships, including ongoing and regular contact and communications.
- Research investment models and opportunities, maintain financial planning platform updates.
- Assist in business development activities, such as designing marketing strategy, delivering presentations, hosting podcasts & engaging in various social events.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in the financial planning field with demonstrated ability to develop comprehensive financial plans and manage relationships for HNW clients
- Bachelor’s degree and CFP® (Certified Financial Planner) designation is a must
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with various financial planning platforms (e.g. eMoney & Orion), CRM (Redtail), and portfolio management software
- An enthusiastic, proactive and client service-oriented attitude
- A self-starter who can work independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong desire to learn and contribute in a team-oriented environment
- Strong analytical skills and ability to focus on details
- Organized, upbeat, efficient, positive, and outgoing personality
- Good entrepreneurial skills including leadership, management, creative thinking and problem-solving
- Willingness to work a full-time schedule in the Pleasanton office
Compensation: Competitive base salary ($95-120K) depending on experience, plus bonus & revenue sharing payout
