Job Summary
The Account Executive will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and selling staffing and consulting solutions to life sciences organizations. You will work closely with recruiting teams and subject matter experts to deliver top-tier talent that meets client needs across clinical trials, regulatory compliance, R&D, and commercialization efforts.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to target life sciences companies (pharma, biotech, medical device).
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities for both contract staffing and consulting engagements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, procurement teams, and business leaders.
- Conduct discovery meetings to understand client needs and position customized service solutions.
- Collaborate with internal recruiting and delivery teams to ensure timely fulfillment of client requirements.
- Provide account management and ensure exceptional client satisfaction throughout the delivery cycle.
- Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Maintain accurate documentation of sales activity, pipeline status, and client communications in the CRM.
- Attend industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings to strengthen market presence.
Education and Experience
- 2–5 years of sales or account management experience in staffing or consulting to the life sciences industry.
- Strong understanding of the drug development lifecycle and regulatory environment preferred.
- Proven ability to manage full sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build credibility with technical stakeholders and hiring leaders.
- Self-motivated, competitive, and goal-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Bullhorn, or similar).
- Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, or related field preferred.
