Sierra Staffing Group is seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist for our rapidly growing client. You will be responsible for tracking inventory and performance across business lines. Knowledge of KPI reporting is preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Research the cost of items such as materials, transport, labor, and equipment
- Establish and maintain relationships with Contractors and Vendors
- Assisting with bids for new contracts/projects and support throughout the bid process.
- Assessing risk levels associated with projects
- Monitoring the costs at difference stages of a project to ensure it remains within forecasted and budgeted estimates.
- Manage the inbound and outbound reports, must be updated within 24hr of completion.
- Establish, implement, and track project KPI’s in accordance with customer requirements.
- Assist in managing files, labels, and uploads both physically and electronically.
- Assist the Inventory Lead with all duties as needed
- Produce SOPs with guidance from Inventory Lead, Inventory Admin and management.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements
- Experience with Operations, Logistics processes, systems and solutions.
- Experience in solar industry a plus.
- 3 years’ experience in a warehouse and/or a lead role.
- Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedure and policy.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities.
- Ability to work with all levels of company staff.
- Comfortable delivering frequent direct written and oral feedback.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.).
