Job Title: Lead Sign Maker and Installer in the Greater Memphis and surrounding area
Job Description:
As a Sign Maker and Installer, you will be responsible for creating and installing a variety of signs for businesses, organizations, and individuals. You will work with clients to understand their signage needs, design custom signs, and then fabricate and install them in various locations.
Responsibilities:
1-Consult with clients to understand their signage needs and provide recommendations.
2-Design custom signs using computer software and traditional techniques.
3-Fabricate signs using a variety of materials, including vinyl, metal, and plastic.
4-Install signs in various locations, including interior and exterior settings.
5-Use hand and power tools to install signs, including drilling, cutting, and anchoring.
6-Ensure that all signs are installed securely and meet safety requirements.
7-Maintain equipment and tools used for sign-making and installation.
8-Follow established company procedures and quality standards.
9-Troubleshoot issues with signs and make repairs as needed.
10-Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients.
Requirements:
1-High school diploma or equivalent
2-REQUIRED:Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sign making and installation is required.
3-Knowledge of design software such as Adobe Illustrator
4-Proficiency with hand and power tools
5-Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
6-Good communication and interpersonal skills
7-Ability to work independently or as part of a team
8-Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Physical Requirements:
1-Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
2-Comfortable working at heights and in outdoor environments
3-Ability to work in confined spaces and on ladders or scaffolds
