Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to manage and maintain accurate financial records for our business. This role is responsible for recording day-to-day financial transactions, reconciling bank statements, processing payroll, and preparing financial reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record and categorize all financial transactions using QuickBooks Online
- Reconcile bank, credit card, and loan statements monthly
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Maintain general ledger and chart of accounts
- Prepare financial reports (e.g., profit & loss, balance sheets, cash flow reports)
- Manage payroll entries and coordinate with payroll service providers
- Ensure compliance with company policies and tax regulations
- Assist with preparing documents for tax filing or audits
- Monitor and report on financial variances or irregularities
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or similar role
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel)
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and best practices
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
- Certification in Bookkeeping (e.g., AIPB, NACPB)
- Experience with Paycor
Work Environment:
- In-office
- M–F, 8:00–5:00
Compensation:
- Hourly Rate / Salary: $21-$26
