Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Partnership
- Serve as the finance lead for the COO and CCO, owning and driving the company’s Revenue, Gross Profit, and Net Bookings budgets.
- Provide real-time analytics and strategic guidance across operations and commercial functions to support decision-making, improve performance, and accelerate growth.
- Collaborate on commercial deal structuring, incentive plans, and partnership models that align with long-term business goals.
- Work closely with the Global Project Management team to measure, monitor and forecast project financials, deliver insightful analytics, and enhance project profitability.
- Act as a core member of the Operations Leadership Team, supporting high-impact initiatives across global delivery, project management, and services.
- Lead financial forecasting and scenario modeling to support agile decision-making and long-term strategic planning.
- Ensure financial models are accurate, dynamic, and reflective of current and future business realities.
- Inspire, develop, and lead a high-performing global FP&A team across multiple geographies.
- Champion automation, digital tools, and AI adoption to modernize financial processes and elevate the FP&A function.
- Partner with IT and Accounting on system enhancements, including NetSuite and OneStream implementations.
- Collaborate with peers in Finance to ensure compliance with US GAAP, drive audit readiness, and maintain robust financial controls.
- Operate at the highest levels of the organization, engaging with the CEO, Executive Leadership Team, and board-level stakeholders.
- Balance multiple priorities, influence across functions, and build consensus to move critical initiatives forward.
- Bring a hands-on, action-oriented approach with the ability to both dive deep and see the big picture.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field; MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.
- Extensive hands-on experience managing project financials in pharma services, CROs, or similar project-driven service industries with a high volume of concurrent projects.
- Board-ready communication and executive presence.
- Deep understanding of project-based financials, revenue recognition, and commercial finance.
- Experience in a high-growth, private equity-backed environment.
- Strong leadership with the ability to motivate global teams and manage complexity.
- Tech-savvy and eager to leverage AI and automation to enhance efficiency and decision-making.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial planning systems.
