Job Title: Senior Software Engineer, GPU
Salary: $200,000 – $250,000 Equity

A well-funded AI startup is hiring a GPU focused Machine Learning / Software Engineer to help optimize and scale their GPU systems. This well-funded startup with a founding team from Top AI Companies/Research Institutions is focused on rethinking the next generation of AI.
In this role, you’ll work on compiler-level optimizations and runtime systems that make it easy to run AI models. This role spans across performance engineering, low-level GPU programming (CUDA), and hardware-aware systems design. You will be managing GPU clusters, have MFU optimization experience, an understanding of hardware systems (memory, cache, processors, etc), and a high performance computing background. This role is ideal for candidates with HPC or systems backgrounds who want to build software that interfaces closely with cutting-edge hardware.

Requirements
- Experience with ML runtimes, compilers, or CUDA programming
- Strong background in systems, performance tuning, or GPU acceleration
- Familiarity with AI infrastructure, dev tools, or inference systems
- Background in HPC, MLIR, or CUDA stack preferred
- Equity in a well-funded, early-stage startup
