Description
Our client is a luxury furniture rental company for events, seeking a high-performing Sales Manager to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. This person must be a leader who is a self-starter and a driven individual, seeking to consistently meet or exceed sales goals by securing events within the leads they are provided or generated through prospecting for potential clients.

Responsibilities
- Aggressively market company services and products to customers in the region.
- Work closely with the design and production team to execute all confirmed events.
- Build comprehensive proposals that meet the client’s expectations within their budget.
- Secure event contracts and work towards building long-term, repeat business.
- Be on-site during as many events as possible to maintain client relationships.
- Report sales status every week (including prospects, leads, cold-calling, hotel relationships, status of current and future business)
- Arrange and attend site walk-throughs with current and potential clients.
- Participate in Sales Team meetings.
- Maintain vendor knowledge in the region.
- Assist in developing strategic partnerships with local venues.
- Responsible for the performance of all sales activities within an assigned territory
- Must recruit, train, and retain the sales team.
- Motivates and directs a sales team and provides strong leadership toward achieving maximum profitability and growth in conjunction with company goals.
- Proactive in developing plans and strategies to ensure the profit of the company's goals.
- Ensures that all Sales Representatives meet or exceed their goals of calls and appointments for executing and closing deals.
- Maintains contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- Present sales, revenue, and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
- Complying with all operational and regulatory rules
Requirements
- B. S. Degree in Hospitality or Business Management, and/or 5 years equivalent of hands-on experience in successful negotiations
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in Sales in the Hospitality industry or Event Sales.
- Computer savvy (must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Fully bilingual (English/Spanish must)
- Valid US Passport and Driver's License
- Willingness/ability to work weekends.
- Attend trade shows, industry events, and other marketing opportunities.
- Professionally represent companies.
- Fostering respectful relationships (internally and externally)
- Ability to work with budgets to meet the client’s expectations.
- Strong presentation skills (ability to explain and sell the decor vision to potential clients).
- Can-do attitude and strong work ethic are a must
- Excellent writing and interpersonal skills are necessary.
- Ultra-organized, detail-oriented, individual with the ability to multitask
- Travel may be required
- Must sign a Confidentiality & Nondisclosure Agreement and Restricted Non-compete Agreement.
