A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A TRANSFER SPECIALIST
As a Transfer Specialist, you will process transfer paperwork received with applications and complete administrative duties such as reviewing corresponding application documents for completeness, ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance. This role requires patience, empathy, and attention to detail to handle all requests and concerns related to the transfer request. SILAC provides ongoing training to enhance the knowledge and accuracy in processing transfers of diverse complexity.
Through primarily outbound communication, you will speak with other carriers and Agents regarding transfer paperwork. This is includes communicating requirements needed to process a transfer form, obtaining and providing the status of transfer requests to our IMOs and Agents. Occasionally, there will be complaints or complex problems related to a transfer, which allows development in conflict resolution and team collaboration.
SILAC is looking for a detail-oriented individual that possess the technical know-how to update our systems and utilize reports for fraud, privacy issues, complaints, and suggestions.
TRANSFER SPECIALIST QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in customer service from educational, professional training, or work experience
- Experience with PC applications, such as MS Word, MS Excel, and Outlook
TRANSFER SPECIALIST WORK SCHEDULE
Our office hours are Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM MT. The shift schedule for the Transfer Specialist position is 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM MT.
