What you'll do:
-
Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and modify mechanical systems
-
Operate and maintain the can line
-
Using precision measuring tools, you'll work with close tolerances up to .00010

Monitor the quality of the product and line efficiency
-
Suggest ways to improve work area, safety, quality, cost, and productivity

A 12-hour per day/night 4-on/4-off schedule, with additional overtime available
We need you to have:

High school diploma, GED, or equivalency

2 years of experience as an industrial mechanic

Desire to operate and maintain Silgan's can lines by performing and documenting quality checks and measurements
