Your schedule: Non-floating schedule: will NOT rotate between days and nights Train on the 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM; after training is completed you will work the night shift from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM Work 2-2-3 schedule: You will work 2 days, then get 2 rest days, followed by 3 days of work, and get every other weekend off What you’ll do: Assist with the installation, launch, and qualification of our newest can-making machines Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and modify all mechanical systems Use precision measuring tools and work with close tolerances up to .0010 Work with management to improve work area, safety, quality, cost, and productivity We need you to have: High school diploma, GED, or equivalency Strong mechanical knowledge A desire to operate and maintain Silgan's can lines by performing and documenting quality checks and measurements Who we are: America's largest metal food packaging producer.
