Operator Assistant

Night shift position, 7p - 7a, rotational schedule Job Description Summary Packages Work in Process (WIP) and finished product on production lines according to work instructions and/or customer specifications. Reworks nonconforming product. · Packages WIP and finished product from RTF and/or Printing lines · Runs the scoring machine · Reports any non-conformances noted during packing to the operator · Reworks nonconforming product in accordance with documented work instructions · Responsible for food safety · Works 12-hour shifts standing on concrete · Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis · Go up steps periodically throughout the day · Work in the heat · Performs other designated duties as assigned · Conducts duties according to plant safety policies and procedures EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent EXPERIENCE: Successful completion of all training modules for Operator Assistant position. SKILLS: Additional training requirements are identified and arrangements for the training made when needed.
