Corporate Project Manager

Overview

Silotech Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Corporate Project Manager to lead and coordinate agile project management efforts for our Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) development projects. This role also provides project management support to various internal corporate initiatives as needed, ensuring the successful delivery of projects aligned with Silotech’s strategic objectives. The Corporate Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product development, finance, and senior leadership, to drive innovation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

SBIR Development Support (Primary Role)

· Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of SBIR development projects, ensuring alignment with program goals, budgets, and timelines.

· Collaborate with Silotech’s research and development teams to facilitate Agile project management processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.

· Monitor key milestones and deliverables to meet Phase I, Phase II, and Phase III requirements for SBIR programs.

· Communicate progress, risks, and opportunities to the CTO and senior stakeholders through regular reports and project status updates.

· Ensure compliance with government reporting requirements, regulations, and standards for SBIR projects.

· Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including charters, plans, and progress reports.

Internal Corporate Project Support (As Needed)

· Provide project management support for Silotech’s internal initiatives, which may include infrastructure modernization, software implementations, and business process improvements.

· Coordinate with department leads to define project scope, goals, and success metrics, ensuring alignment with Silotech's strategic priorities.

· Identify risks and dependencies across internal projects and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.

· Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, utilizing Agile and Lean principles to drive project success.

Required Skills and Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

· 5 years of project management experience, preferably in technology-driven environments, with a focus on Agile methodologies.

· Demonstrated success managing federal contracts, specifically SBIR or R&D-related projects, is highly desirable.

· Strong understanding of Agile frameworks such as Scrum, SAFe, or Kanban, with experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and implementing continuous delivery practices.

· Proven experience in coordinating cross-functional teams and managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.

· Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

· Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar).

Preferred Skills and Certifications

· Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or SAFe Agilist (SA) certification.

· Familiarity with federal contracting procedures, compliance requirements, and reporting standards.

· Experience in cloud migration, DevSecOps, or emerging technology solutions.

· Proficiency in risk management and performance optimization techniques.
