What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Education Teacher position at Silver Lake Regional Middle School?
Silver Lake Middle School is seeking a special education teacher to support students in general education classes. Certification in Moderate Disabilities required and training in Wilson (level II) or Orton-Gilligham (associate, certified, or fellow) certification highly preferred; training opportunities available. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: co-teaching in general education classes, supporting students in academic support classes outside of the general education setting, communicating with families and outside providers, supporting general education teachers, chairing annual IEP meetings and writing IEPs.
