Marketing Specialist

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ​

• Implement drawings, giveaways, tournaments, by ensuring promotional items including gifts, décor and signage are procured and arranged.
• Create marketing coupons and adjustments including prize slips, promotional logs, and other forms.
• Submit work orders, purchase orders, invoices, BEO's.
• Coordinates job submission to external agencies/vendors for design, printing and install.
• Update digital and signage content on property.
• Maintain up to date inventory log of inbound and outbound promotional merchandise in storage. 
• Ensure spelling, grammatical and factual accuracy of all correspondence before finalizing and distributing.
• Review online content to ensure accuracy of all content is within brand standard.
• Create, edit, update monthly promotion rules and documentation; ensure timely distribution of monthly documents to relevant departments including maintaining monthly calendar of events.
• Maintain awareness of and effectively communicate to other staff, property-wide/company promotions, events and programs. Keep employees/guest informed of any changes as they occur.
• Responsible for reviewing graphics, logos and copyright materials to ensure compliance with company policies and gaming regulations.
• Develop and organize system to gather and record jackpot winners with accompanying releases for use in social media, newsletters, website and external communication.
• Comply with all Internal Controls, Company, departmental and safety policies, procedures and regulations.
• Utilize proper conduct of professionalism in compliance with company standards. security and confidentiality of files, record and lists.
• Employees may be required to perform duties outside of their normal job description where, in the Company’s judgement, it is necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity or improved guest service.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Associate's Degree or above from an accredited college or university 
• Two years of related experience 
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Driver's License, Alcohol Card, and Nevada Gaming Control Board registration required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must be able to effectively communicate in English. The ability to speak Spanish or other languages is strongly preferred.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Microsoft Office skills required. Knowledge of Patron systems strongly preferred.
