Silver Shield Inc. hires Level 4 and Armed/Level 3 Officers throughout Texas. You must complete your application and submitt all credentials to hr@silvershieldinc.us You will then be emailed a background check form to fill out and you must clear this check to ensure employment with us. Requirements:
Security Officers Requirements:
- Be twenty-one (21) years of age;
- Must have a Level III or Level IV TXPSB Certification
- Must have 2 years of experience as a Security Officer
- Have completed training in de-escalation courses specifically designed for security officers. Courses must be taken every four years to be considered valid; and
- Have completed training in physical restraint courses specifically designed for security officers. Courses must be taken every four years to be considered valid.
- Must have required duty gear.
Uniform Attire:
- Khaki Pants/BDU's
- Black boots/Shoes
- Black Duty Belt
Must be able to work with or without reasonable accommodation, the physical and mental requirements of this job may include the following: seeing, hearing, speaking, writing, occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, sitting, standing for both short and long periods, walking, walking up inclines and on uneven terrain, walking for long periods, climbing stairs and frequent lifting and moving of 10 pounds and occasional lifting and moving of up to 25 pounds.
