What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Table Games/Sports Book Manager position at Silver Slipper Casino?
Manage, direct, evaluate, and monitor the Table Games / Sportsbook department operations to ensure adherence to gaming regulations and company policies and procedures, maximize guest satisfaction and returns, and ensure the protection of company assets. Monitor and approve personnel related decisions such as hiring, discharging, performance evaluations, promotions, etc.
Essential Job Functions :
- Excellent internal / external guest service;
- Review and analyze operational procedures and practices and marketing strategies to effect maximum business and revenue related to Table Games / Sportsbook operations;
- Review and analyze Table Games / Sportsbook financial activity reports;
- Perform and / or oversee personnel related matters including but not limited to interviewing, hiring, scheduling, coaching, counseling, evaluating, promoting and discharge;
- Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with all gaming relations and laws;
- Prepare and / or review Table Games / Sportsbook forecast and budgets;
- Administer and monitor established gaming and credit policies and procedures;
- Maintain a work environment that promotes the best teamwork, communication and cooperation among its employees;
- Other reasonable duties as assigned.
