Retail Sales Associate

Position Overview:

Silver Therapeutics is looking for enthusiastic and knowledgeable Budtenders to provide exceptional service and expert knowledge to our customers. As a Budtender, you are the face of our dispensary and play a vital role in delivering an outstanding customer experience while ensuring compliance with all regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on cannabis products based on customer needs and preferences.
• Educate customers on safe cannabis use, product potency, and consumption methods.

Sales and Product Handling:

• Efficiently handle transactions and maintain accuracy in cash handling and POS (Point of Sale) operations.
• Ensure the sales floor is well-stocked and presentable.
• Assist with inventory control tasks such as stocking and organizing products, conducting inventory counts, and adhering to storage and safety protocols.

Compliance and Education:

• Stay informed about local, state, and federal laws and regulations regarding cannabis sales.
• Ensure all customer interactions comply with current legal standards.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to remain up-to-date on product offerings and industry developments.

Operational Support:

• Support the Team Leads and Assistant Manager in daily dispensary operations as needed.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized store environment, including cleaning and sanitizing as required.
• Handle product returns and exchanges according to company policies.

Qualifications:

• A genuine interest in and knowledge of cannabis products and their effects.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and foster a cooperative work environment.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in cannabis education are a plus.
