How you will make an impact:
We are currently seeking a reliable and caring Bus Driver to join our team at Shorewood. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of our residents during transportation, while adhering to all established state laws and SilverCrest Bus policies. As a Bus Driver at SilverCrest, you will play a vital role in assisting residents onto and off the bus, as well as at their destinations. Collaborating with our Programming staff, you will help facilitate outings and activities, providing our residents with enjoyable experiences outside the facility. You will be in charge of the general maintenance and upkeep of the community's bus, diligently recording all maintenance records for future reference.
This is approximately a 28 hour a week position. If we do not need the person driving we would like to have them support the community in other areas, or they could just decline the hours. Enjoy this flexible position!
What you will need:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- At least 2 years of bus driving experience required
- Passing a DOT physical is required
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
