What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Inspector position at SIMONA Boltaron Inc.?
Qualifications:
This day shift position ensures the quality of products through thorough assessment and analyses using specific procedural standards. Individuals must be reliable and willing to work overtime. Inspectors will report directly to our Quality Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Performs inspections of company products to determine conformance with specifications.
- Utilizes standard mechanical and electrical instruments, functional gauges and measuring devices.
- Processes associated documentation, including process tags, rework tags and nonconforming material documents.
- Work under direct supervision and in accordance with instructions and techniques.
- Work directly with engineering and production to address, correct, and prevent customer complaints
- Complete First Article Inspection (FAI) reports and qualification efforts
- Control of non-conforming product
Job Requirements:
- HS Diploma or GED
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and ERP experience
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Able to use hand tools and measurement devices (micrometer, tape measure)
- Possess good math and computer skills
- Tow motor experience a plus
- 2 years of manufacturing or quality inspection preferred
