The Physician Services team member is responsible for assigning cases to the appropriate radiologist based on specialty. This position will be working closely with the radiologists, sites, and rad hotline. The Physician Services team member must be organized, be able to work independently as well as with a team and have excellent communication skills. They must also feel comfortable speaking with physicians and site managers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assign cases to the appropriate radiologist based on specialty
- Field calls and messages from radiologists to assist with their day to day activities
- Field calls and messages from internal staff to assist with getting reports read, cases assigned, etc.
- Ability to communicate effectively with radiologists and other staff
- Ability to identify problems and work efficiently towards a solution
- Ability to solve first level IT problems
- Exceptional communication, both written and verbal
- Able to maintain confidentiality and regulatory compliance
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills, including problem identification, investigation, and resolution
- Demonstrates competency in the performance of job-related skills appropriate to his/her customer populations and departmental services while providing excellent customer service.
- Utilizes and operates equipment and mechanical devices which provide for a functional, effective, and safe environment.
- Adheres to policies, procedures, guidelines relative to departmental operations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
High School graduate or equivalent.
Experience:
Must be able to communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and the public and be capable of establishing good working relationships with both internal and external customers. Must be proficient in computer skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position may require duties including lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, sitting for prolonged periods of time, with frequent standing and walking.
DRESS ATTIRE: Business Casual or scrubs dependent on department
