Brief Description
The Vice President of Payroll Sales and Operations is directly responsible for building, leading, and integrating Payroll Services as a viable, value-added product available to all sales channels and partners. The qualified candidate will be responsible for selling, assisting in the development of product development and placement, training Sales Representatives, and maintaining sales goals.
Establish Simpay Payroll Services as a core product within Simpay’s offering.
Generate Payroll Services sales to new and existing customers and partnerships.
Identify and procure new sales professionals as well as referral partners.
Recognize and tailor individual sales training needs to ensure the sales team quickly and successfully integrates into the organization.
Actively participate and contribute to all sales and training sessions as requested.
Receive direction and execute reporting requirements and communication to leadership as requested.
Attend required leadership meetings which may include some travel for F2F meetings.
Ability to work in a cooperative and supportive manner with the Sales Leadership team.
Receive coaching and feedback and demonstrate a willingness to implement recommendations into the sales process.

Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years in the payroll industry with a proven track record in building and leading successful sales teams.
- Strong industry knowledge throughout the payroll ecosystem.
- Ability to travel in a local/regional capacity if required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- A strong personal and professional network.
- Excellent business acumen.
- Takes on personal accountability for achieving Payroll Services channel KPI’s.
- Work with integrity, a positive attitude, and being a team player at all times while driving to leave a lasting mark in the industry.
- Strong knowledge in sales cycles in multiple industry vertical markets (restaurant and hospitality, retail, B2B, E-commerce, etc).
- Strong leadership skills, work ethic and previous training experience.
