We are currently seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team at our distribution center. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for various duties including order fulfillment, inventory control, and shipping and receiving. This position will also be for a backup delivery driver.
Key duties and responsibilities of a warehouse associate:
1. Receiving and Unloading:
- Checking incoming shipments against paperwork for accuracy.
- Inspecting products for damage or defects.
- Unloading trucks using appropriate equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks).
- Properly labeling and storing received inventory.
2. Inventory Management:
- Maintaining accurate stock levels by performing cycle counts.
- Locating and retrieving products from designated storage areas.
- Updating inventory management systems with relevant data.
3. Order Picking and Packing:
- Picking items from shelves according to customer orders.
- Accurately pack orders using appropriate packaging materials.
- Applying labels and shipping documentation to packages.
4. Shipping and Loading:
- Loading picked orders onto delivery trucks.
- Verifying shipping details and ensuring accurate delivery.
- Completing necessary paperwork for outgoing shipments.\
5. Warehouse Maintenance and Site Organization:
- Keeping the warehouse/site clean and organized.
- Reporting any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions.
- Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Physical Strength: Ability to lift heavy boxes and packages.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in picking, packing, and inventory management.
- Basic Math Skills: Calculating quantities and verifying order details.
- Operating Warehouse Equipment: Proficient with forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery.
- Computer Literacy: Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for data entry and inventory tracking.
- To work outdoors when needed. Acclimate to the seasonal weather conditions.

Pay: $16.50 per hour
