What are the responsibilities and job description for the Low Voltage Technician position at Simplx Security?
Simplx is a family owned alarm company located in the Fort Wayne area. We install and service alarm systems & camera systems in homes and businesses. Simplx also installs/services fire systems, fire extinguishers, access control, home automation devices, and audio video appliances.
We are currently looking for someone to join our team and help provide the outstanding customer service that our customers have grown to expect. The ideal candidate for this job must be good with tools, a very fast learner and be able to work independently while trouble shooting system issues within a customer’s home or business. Any history running wire, fishing cables, programming, network or any low-voltage experience could result in higher pay. Because our alarms allow customers the ability to control their systems via their smart phones/devices, we are looking for someone that is tech savvy. The position is full-time.
Our staff is like family to us. We are looking for someone that enjoys working in a positive environment and that can add value to our growing business. Person must be a team player. Candidate needs to have a good driving record and the ability to pass a background and drug screening.
Starting Hourly Wage - $16 - $20 Depending on Experience
