YOU
The Associate Multi-Family Project Manager is responsible for all non-field related tasks. This includes processing leads, facilitating projects, and developing budgets. The Associate Project Manager will coordinate with field sales to create a sales strategy, and prepare project proposals.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Collaborate with Simpson sales force to manage specific projects. Package and price material lists. (45%)
Review plans and issue budgetary numbers for a project. Evaluate and analyze competitive situations. (20%)
Facilitate take-offs with the Engineering Services Department. (15%)
Stage, ship and invoice projects as well as issue and respond to RFI’s and questions from the jobsite. (15%)
Travel to various meetings and customer jobsites for sales presentations and preconstruction issues. (5%)
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Business preferred.
- 1 year of various aspects of Multi-Family business, including, but not limited to, budgeting, reading plans and negotiating pricing required.
- 1 year of Project Management required.
- Speaking: ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers.
- Mathematic Reasoning: ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
- Reading Plans: ability to read, analyze and interpret construction blue prints.
- Attention to Detail: ability to achieve thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task.
- Problem Solving: ability to manage and resolve conflicts in a constructive manner.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in both a professional office environment, customer sites and outdoor construction job sites. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers/scanners, etc. The employee occasionally works around moving mechanical parts. Noise level may be loud at times.
TRAVEL REQUIRED
This role requires 5% domestic travel.
WORK STATUS & LOCATION
This full-time, exempt position is located in McKinney, TX.
RELOCATION
Relocation is not available for this position.
PAY
$63,500 - $82,500 / year
