Software Developer V

Overview:
SimVentions, consistently voted one Virginia's Best Places to Work, is looking for Part-time Senior Level Software Engineers to work on Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) analysis, algorithm development, technical documentation.

Travel: 10% Clearance:
An ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. ship is required to obtain a clearance.
Requirements:

• In-depth expertise with analysis and/or testing with satellite orbit determination software
• In-depth expertise with project management
• In-depth expertise with PNT applications, particularly in relation to the Global Positioning System (GPS) and Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS)
• In-depth expertise with implementing algorithms and capabilities for satellite orbit determination into software
• In-depth expertise designing and implementing algorithms for kalman filtering and precise timing
• In-depth expertise with PNT applications, particularly in relation to the Global Positioning System (GPS) and Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS)
• In-depth expertise performing data analysis and applied research

Responsibilities:

• Performing Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) analysis
• Algorithm development, technical documentation, and developing training material for the EPOCHA project
• Programmatic assistance for EPOCHA and interface support for the OCX program

Education: A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline is required. Compensation:
Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements.

The projected annual compensation range for this position is $120,000-$160,000(USD). This estimate reflects the standard salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package that SimVentions offers.
