Loans Doc Processor
4 Chase Metrotech Center, #1, Downtown Brooklyn, NY 11201/Onsite
4 months of contract with possible extension and possibility of going permanent
Experience in a large corporate or Financial Institution; experience working in a law firm; and/or paralegal or law background; experience with legal agreements; indexing legal documents and capturing it’s metadata; client facing/client service experience; creating or drafting document packages
Responsibilities include:
· Perform Document Review of Wholesale Loans legal agreements and it’s supporting documentation to ensure it meets requirements of acceptability
· Enter Loan and Document details into a tracker and cite discrepancies and exceptions and communicate with the submitters to close them out
· Capture the image and its associated metadata to the correct document title into our document repository with deadline
· Perform research as requested
· Work closely with internal colleagues and other team members to maximize performance of work tools and other client onboarding initiatives
· Generate and/or maintain various reports including MIS reporting
Qualifications:
· Minimum 3-5 years banking experience as a contract associate or similar
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required
· Knowledge of corporate documentation, terminology, and legal concepts
· Demonstrated self-motivation, initiative and strong customer focus
· Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and organization skills
· Detail oriented and methodical
· Proven ability to independently identify, analyze and resolve issues
· Ability to report on volume and metrics for records indexed
· Ability to work well under pressure, exercise good judgment, meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
· Proven problem solving and critical thinking skills
· Ability to work independently and in a team environment
· Experience with utilizing MS Excel (intermediate skills preferred)
· Experience with MS Office applications
Skills:
Knowledge of Commercial Wholesale Loan documents; Corporate Banking agreements and its supporting docs; basic - intermediate excel and SharePoint skills; detailed oriented and attention to details a must; ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize work; experience with indexing and capturing metadata from Loan legal documents.

Pay: $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
