Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Logistics Account Manager located in the San Antonio, Texas Metropolitan Area. The Logistics Account Manager will be responsible for managing customer accounts, developing new business, maintaining good communication channels with customers and carriers, and ensuring excellent customer service. The Logistics Account Manager will also be responsible for working with carriers to optimize freight movements and negotiate rates.
Qualifications:
- Logistics Sales experience is preferred but not required
- Passion for sales and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to develop new business and build customer relationships
- Ability to work both independently and in a team
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not required
- Experience working in the logistics industry is a plus
- Proficiency in software skills & ability to learn
