Job Summary:
Our Digital Copier Operator works closely with customers and our sales team, providing support with the goal of increasing sales and customer satisfaction.
Responsibility Overview:
- Program and produce color and black & white outputs.
- Schedule jobs by due dates indicated or as requested by management.
- Call for device maintenance when necessary and notify management.
- Send monthly copier usage log to vendor.
- Operate all copiers in accordance with equipment operating procedures.
- Perform maintenance per the guidelines on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
- Communicate with the other employees and/or the customer for a complete understanding of the copy order.
- Keep the copier area clean and organized.
- Perform troubleshooting with the equipment when necessary.
- Order and stock inventory and supplies per the direction of management.
Skills we are looking for:
- An understanding of programming, color management for all the digital output devices, their functions, and processes.
- Quality Control
- An aptitude for math and detail.
- Able to apply written instructions about machine set-up and maintenance.
Skills desired, but not required:
- Assist with job packaging as needed.
- Comply with all OSHA safety requirements.
- Experience with PrintSmith or PrintersPlan
