Retail Manager/Manager Trainee
Sir Troy's Toy Kingdom is Ohio's largest independent toy store. We specialize in quality imagination powered toys for kids of all ages and boast the state's largest selection of LEGO®.
We are seeking an energetic, fun loving & positive individual to join our management team!
We are looking for a responsible Manager or Manager Trainee to help oversee the efficiency of our sales floor, organize and run the toy store.
Responsible for day to day operations of the retail store including:
- Executing merchandise presentation according to brand(s) standards and current floor-set and product messaging, in addition to maintaining all current sales promotions.
- Meeting sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to store staff.
- Ensuring high levels of customers’ satisfaction through excellent service and customer service training for staff.
- Train and develop team members product knowledge of the brands that Sir Troy’s Toy Kingdom carries.
- Day to day human resource responsibilities for the store, including staffing, scheduling and coaching.
- Respond to customer complaints, queries and comments in a timely manner, resolving issues.
- Ensures company standards for cleanliness of the sales floor, stockroom, restrooms, cash wrap and play area.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or some college preferred.
- Successful experience in a supervisory or management role preferred.
- Flexible schedule available nights & weekends.

Physical Requirements:
- Stand for up to 8 hours
- Lift and carry up to 40lbs.
- Climb and balance on ladders
- Bend at waist
- Kneel and squat on the ground
- Reach about the shoulder frequently.
Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
