The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, in-depth HTM (Healthcare Technology Management) knowledge, and a track record of driving service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the clinical engineering program.
- Lead and mentor a team of supervisors and biomedical technicians.
- Ensure proper maintenance, repair, and calibration of medical equipment.
- Drive process improvements to enhance service quality and compliance.
- Collaborate with hospital leadership to align biomedical services with patient care goals.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with CIHQ, DNV, and Joint Commission (JCAHO) standards.
- Manage departmental budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.
- Foster team development and continuous improvement in HTM practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 5 years of experience managing biomedical services in a large healthcare system.
- Experience working with C-suite executives and aligning HTM strategies with organizational goals.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance standards (CIHQ, DNV, JCAHO).
- Proven leadership in managing teams and mentoring technical staff.
- Excellent decision-making, conflict resolution, and budget management skills.
