Fitter / Fabricator

1st shift, Monday-Friday 6am-4 : 30pm

Pay : $26-$30 / hour

Job Description :

• Read and interpret blueprints and / or drawings to determine the specific welding requirements.
• Lay out, position, align, and fit components together according to blueprints, BOM, written, and verbal instructions.
• Checks parts for accuracy, clearance and fit.
• Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure in position for final welding, MIG.
• Select equipment and plan layout of assembly for welding.
• Setup welding machines based on the job at hand.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools as needed.
• Inspect items as instructed and provide feedback to management to ensure any quality defects can be avoided in the future.
• Maintain a clean work area, returning equipment and tools at the end of the day.
• Assist other departments and functions as needed.
