Position Overview
Our Hardscape Sales Managers are responsible for developing and implementing tactical and strategic plans to achieve sales revenue goals within a larger defined geographical area, or in some cases, a single location with a very large Hardscape portfolio. Hardscape Sales Managers manage a team focused on Hardscape sales, gaining market share, and developing channel partners in alignment with company financial goals.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and implement a plan that delivers sales performance results in alignment with sales objectives for the region. Focus on Hardscape sales, channel partner development and customer retention.
- Monitor channel partner performance and replaces or upgrades low- performing channel partners.
- Promote sale of products and services to channel partners and end users and is ultimately accountable for meeting sales goals and market share goals.
- Counsels channel partners on product, marketing, financial and/or management-related matters.
- Coach and counsel other employees to promote employee development and professional growth; provide guidance to field staff to manage channel partner and customer relationships.
- Provide supervision of subordinate employees and/or team that includes placement, work direction, goal setting, coaching, development, and performance management.
Skills We Are Seeking
- 4 years’ experience in a broad range of marketing and sales related job functions especially centered on hardscapes channel management, preferred
- 3 years min. key account sales experience, required
- 1-3 years of landscape design or other green industry experience, preferred
- College degree in a hardscapes related discipline or equivalent experience, preferred
- High school, secondary diploma or equivalent required
