We are seeking a dedicated Safety Coordinator to implement and enforce safety policies and procedures on our sites to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. The Safety Coordinator will work closely with project teams to promote a strong culture of safety and risk prevention.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Safety Coordinator to implement and enforce safety policies and procedures on our sites to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. The Safety Coordinator will work closely with project teams to promote a strong culture of safety and risk prevention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain site-specific safety plans and programs.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections, audits and risk assessments
- Identify unsafe conditions or behaviors and discuss corrective actions with senior management.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and other applicable safety regulations
- Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses; prepare detailed reports
- Conduct toolbox talks and ongoing safety training
- Maintain safety documents, logs, permits and compliance records.
- Collaborate with project managers, supervisors and subcontractors to enforce safety standards
- Review PTP, confined space permits, etc.
- Monitor use of personal PPE and safety equipment.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for safety related concerns onsite.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Bilingual speaking (Spanish) (Required)
- 3 years of construction safety experience (preferred)
- OSHA 30-hour certification (OSHA 500/501 preferred)
- CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
- Excellent communication and training skills.
- Ability to conduct training in large groups.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of the range of heavy equipment in our industry.
- Ability to travel to jobsites as required to conduct safety duties.
Salary : $70,000 - $85,000
