SIXT Boston Logan Airport Hiring Fleet Planner $23.25/hr.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Fleet Planner to join our dynamic team in Boston, United States. As a Fleet Planner, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our fleet operations, ensuring efficient vehicle utilization, and maintaining compliance with transportation regulations.
- Develop and implement efficient fleet management strategies to maximize vehicle utilization and minimize costs
- Analyze fleet data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in operations
- Create and maintain optimal route plans for drivers, considering factors such as traffic, weather, and delivery schedules
- Monitor and ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule and coordinate vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Generate regular reports on fleet performance, fuel consumption, and other key metrics
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies or processes to enhance fleet efficiency
- Assist in budget planning and cost control for fleet operations
- Coordinate with drivers, dispatchers, and other stakeholders to address operational issues and improve communication
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in fleet management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in fleet management or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach
- Proficiency in fleet management software and route optimization techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- In-depth knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance requirements
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with data analysis and reporting, including the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance schedules and requirements
- Understanding of transportation industry trends and best practices
- Ability to work efficiently and organize tasks to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis
