Sjoberg Tool & Mfg. Corp is seeking General Production to join our growing team 1st shift! We are offering a $2500 hiring bonus for this role!

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

1. Check work area for hazards.

2. Clean up dirt and debris in work area.

3. Consult with Team Leader about scheduled production and schedule requirements. Utilize the most efficient methods of completing work assignments.

4. Identify, sort and separate metal parts from the skeletal nests by hand, according to company specifications and procedures.

5. Complete secondary work using hand files and/or grinders.

6. Clean up debris from floor and clean work area at end of shift.

7. Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documentation, etc.

8. Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Requires two years of high school, GED, or equivalent and preferably six to twelve months related experience; or a combination of education and experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

· The employee must regularly lift and/or move less than 30 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; occasionally exposed to dust or airborne particles; The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions.
