We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Property Manager to oversee daily operations of a HUD-subsidized multifamily housing property. The ideal candidate must have working knowledge of HUD regulations, TRACS submissions, tenant recertifications, and compliance procedures. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the property including leasing, rent collection, and maintenance coordination
- Ensure full compliance with HUD regulations and guidelines
- Process annual and interim tenant recertifications using HUD systems
- Prepare and submit monthly TRACS (Tenant Rental Assistance Certification System) files accurately and on time
- Respond to MOR (Management and Occupancy Reviews) and REAC inspections, ensuring readiness and corrective actions as needed
- Maintain resident files and documentation in compliance with HUD standards
- Manage occupancy levels, waiting list, and eligibility screening
- Supervise on-site staff (if applicable), vendors, and contractors
- Monitor and manage property budget, expenses, and reporting
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing HUD-assisted housing
- Strong knowledge of HUD regulations, Fair Housing laws, and TRACS submissions
- Experience with annual/interim recertifications and income verifications
- Proficient with HUD systems such as TRACS, EIV, and knowledge of 4350.3 handbook
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in property management software (Yardi a plus)
- High school diploma or equivalent required; COS (Certified Occupancy Specialist), TCS, or other HUD-related certifications preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with LIHTC or other affordable housing programs a plus
- Bilingual skills a plus
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
