Overview
We are seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating cranes and other heavy equipment to lift, move, and position materials in a safe and efficient manner. This role is critical in ensuring that projects are completed on time while adhering to safety regulations and operational standards.
Duties
- Must have experience driving pile in marine construction
- Perform pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Load, unload, and transport materials as required by project specifications.
- Collaborate with ground crew members to ensure safe lifting and movement of materials.
- Maintain clear communication with team members regarding load placement and operational procedures.
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks on the job site.
Experience
- Proven experience in critical lifts and heavy lifts
- Mechanical knowledge related to crane operation and maintenance is required
Requirement
- Must possess a NCCCO Lattice Boom Crawler Certification
- Must be able to qualify for DBIDS & NAVSEA Badges
- This project is located on a military base
