Position Responsibilities Skidmore, Owings & Merrill is seeking a Billing Coordinator to contribute to SOM’s vision by enabling clear communication among team members and providing support to the overall finance department. Assist in invoice coding and circulating for payment approval. Assist in preparation of draft billings and gathering required supporting documentation. Enter billing forecasts in Salesforce. Correspond with project consultants on invoicing procedures and amounts. Review and reconcile consultant invoices to approved project fees. Transfer labor hours and expenses as directed. Run project detail reports, assist with analysis as needed. Assist with inputting labor projections and consultant fees in resource planning module. Provide general accounting support and reporting as needed. Minimum Qualifications A highly professional, inquisitive, creative, and committed individual with proven organizational skills. A proven work ethic, including the ability to coordinate the gathering of data inputs from various sources. Work experience in an office environment working with and as part of a team a plus. Understanding of Microsoft Excel, growing comfort with Google suite. Attention to detail a must. Ability to work well under deadlines. Exceptional written and communication skills. Deltek Vision and Salesforce experience preferable but not essential.
