JOB DESCRIPTION
General Summary of the Position:
- Make repairs to finished concrete products using different power tools and equipment / Working with power tools to create wooden trusses
- Demolition and site clean up
- Ground work
Essential Functions:
Willing to work in a fast paced work environment
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
Loading and Offloading of trucks
Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor.
Construct wooden concrete forms using blueprints, shop drawing and previous experience.
Patch finished concrete product.
Maintain a clean job site: pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazards.
Material handling and storage.
Load and unload trucks.
Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed.
Abilities and Understanding
Understanding of proper use of equipment, tools, materials & supplies used in concrete production and finishing.
Blueprint reading and understanding in relation to construction of wood forms
SAFETY - Understanding and practice of.
Being able to meet production budget and schedule while working independently.
Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor.
COMMUNICATE - the ability to verbally elaborate on details
Reliable transportation
Ability to arrive on time and leave on time
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
2 years of General Construction Labor, prepping job sites, cleaning up construction trash and debris
COMPENSATION:
Based on proven work experience, work history, and knowledge of the industry.
