What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Medical Assistant position at Skin and Cancer Institute?
Performs a variety of patient care activities to assist physicians and nursing personnel
Delivers quality customer service and maintains established quality control standards
Shows patients to exam rooms according to company standards
Records patient care documentation in the medical record accurately and in a timely manner
Coordinates patient care as directed by physicians, company standards and policies
Processes appropriate documents in an organized and accurate fashion
Respects patient confidentiality always
Organizes exam and treatment rooms, stocks and cleans rooms and sterilizes instruments
Skills / Qualifications
1 year experience in a Dermatology office with Back Office experience preferred but not required
3 year experience in any other specialty as a Medical Assistant
Knowledge of medical terminology
Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
Effective communication and customer service skills
