ASSISTANT BUSINESS MANAGER, DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Assistant Business Manager will provide ongoing support to the Business office and Sales staff in addition to other tasks in and around the dealership.

• Performing the financing and closing function of the sales process to the boat buying customers
• Provide insurance and financing services by verifying sales information, determining need for financing, evaluating customer credit worthiness, preparing financial and legal documents, selling products and services, and maintain rapport with the customers
• Providing a thorough explanation of aftermarket products and extended warranties, and of manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies
• Sell other products offered by the dealership such as warranties and credit insurance
• Coordinate delivery date with customer and service department to ensure a smooth transaction
• Ensure compliance in the finance deals and associated paperwork and processes
• Uphold strict legal and ethical standards while conducting business
• Demonstrate commitment to supporting the sales department in achieving its goals while also looking out for the best interests of the dealership and customer
• Actively participate in boat shows and other off-site promotions
• FANS Advocate/Customer Satisfaction

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have a high level of self-awareness and project an approachable professional image
• Previous experience in sales, finance and insurance is helpful, but not required
• We are willing to train the right person
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong negotiation & communication skills
• High aptitude for customer service
• Strong ability to problem solve
• Strong attention to detail
• Willingness to work a non-traditional work schedule due to the retail nature of the job
• Weekends Required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
