Job Title: Sr. IT/Desktop Support Engineer
Job Type and Location: Onsite || Monday to Friday || Temporary Contract (3 Months) || Dublin, CA
Job Overview and Requirements :
Looking for a senior engineer ( 10 years ) with hands own experience creating OS images for Windows ( 10/11).
- Creating and maintaining Windows OS images (Windows 10/11), which involves customizing images to meet requirements, integrating drivers, software, and patches, managing deployment processes with tools like MDT, DISM, SCCM OS task sequence and Microsoft Intune Autopilot
- Deployment and automation tasks include optimizing processes, automating builds with scripting languages like PowerShell, and implementing Zero Touch, LTSI OS Image or Autopilot deployments.
- Experience of SCCM Infrastructure, PXE Boot, Network boot, Complex task sequences and Creation of Offline Boot media etc.
- Familiarity with BIOS/UEFI, and knowledge of endpoint management solutions are also required.
- A solid understanding of hardware configuration across various models, knowledge of hardware lifecycle management
- Maintaining Detailed documentation of Image builds, Specifications, deployment processes and any changes along with proper version control
- Troubleshooting and support involve resolving image-related issues and providing advanced support for imaging and deployment. Collaborating with other IT teams to ensure image compatibility and user experience, evaluating new updates and software, and managing a User Acceptance Testing process
- Strong analytical skills, excellent communication and documentation abilities, and the capacity to work independently and collaboratively. Familiarity with compliance standards and experience with ITSM tools are also beneficial
- Knowledge on Packaging will be an added advantage.
