The SkyGrid team is looking for a Systems Validation and Verification Engineer to support the planning, designing, and execution of the system validation, integration, and verification activities. In this role, you will collaborate with functional teams to create test plans, design and execute both manual and automated test cases and documents, and maintain test results. When issues arise, you will manage problem reports by documenting, prioritizing, and tracking them through resolution. You will ensure that industry standards and regulations along with quality assurance practices are implemented. You will be responsible for supporting integration testing which involves validating interfaces, data flow, and communication protocols to identify and resolve integration issues. - Has identified the validation activities for system and subsystem requirements
- Developed validation procedures and reports
- Identified the test setup and environment for black-box system
- Maintain the validation matrix
- Supporting the oversight of verification planning
- Review system and subsystem requirements for accuracy, completeness, and testability.
- Plan and conduct validation, integration and verification activities for system and subsystem requirements in accordance with ARP 4754A
- Work closely with functional teams to develop comprehensive test plans and procedures
- Identify and design the test setup and environment for black-box system
- Design and execute test cases (manual and automated testing approaches) and methodologies
- Document and maintain test results and reports
- Ensure that the testing process aligns with industry standards, regulations, and quality assurance practices
- Collaborate with customers in support of system integration.
- Participate in technical reviews
- This position reports to our Austin, TX headquarters on a hybrid schedule
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering or related STEM degree
- 7 years of experience working in a highly technical, aerospace-related industry
- Experience in validation and certification roles within aerospace-related industry
- Experience in planning and conducting integration testing to ensure seamless collaboration
- Experience with ARP 4754A
- Advanced Engineering degree, (Masters), from an accredited institution
- Familiarity with network systems
