Job Description

The Room and/or Laundry Attendant at Skyview Los Alamos is responsible for cleaning rooms. A designated laundry attendant will be assigned daily. The job has a high standard of cleanliness to provide tidy and sanitary amenities to guests and residents. Attention to detail is needed to be successful at this position. Above all, the PROPERTY NAME attendants ensure brand standards of hotel service through extensive training and through standards of procedures (SOPs) and other systems.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Cleaning all bathroom surfaces with no visible residue or hairs left

- Cleaning floors, furniture and windows

- Making beds with sheets, pillows, duvets and blankets to company standards

- Ensure linen and trash is taken away from rooms and disposed of to large bins

- Ability to work independently in rooms and as a part of a team in laundry and folding

- Take inventory of missing room items for agents to charge the guest

- Communicate urgent maintenance to management

- Lift up to 25lbs during various duties throughout shifts

- Ability to bend down to clean under beds

- Ability to lift laundry in and out of the washer and dryer

- Foresee operational deficiencies, potential problems and communicate possible solutions to the management

- Work productively and develop professionally throughout shifts

- Other duties may be asked of this position by management occasionally

Qualifications

• Previous applicable experience in a hotel is preferred
• Must be able to stand, reach, stoop, bend, lift, and clean during various activities throughout shift.
• As needed, must be able to lift products or supplies up to 25 lbs.
• Submission of satisfactory proof of your identity and your legal authorization to work in the United States.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 25 per week
